Based on this belief, we have been donating books to elementary schools throughout the country since 1999. The books are about natural environments, food, life, international understanding, and other topics. In 2005, we donated 15,246 texts to 1,386 schools, and brings the total of our contribution to 95,270 texts at 8,433 schools.
As children have fewer opportunities to experience nature
in addition to
declining
literacy, it is our wish to
guide children back to books
as well as sow the seeds of hope into their hearts. |
